Our chosen genre once again is Indie/Alternative. This means that our artist in our video will follow the normal conventions of this genre but in some ways will challenge them.For this genre, music videos usually include:
- musical instruments (acoustic guitars)
- quirky costumes
- unique make-up
- weird locations - woods, at one of their gigs, playgrounds (fun factor) including swings: showing their innocence of the artist.
As you can see from this picture, Ellie Goulding's video is set in some sort of field, which for a music video is very unique and quirky.Posted by Nicole
