Dog Days Are Over is a song released by Florence and the Machine from one of her many albums Lungs. It was released on December 1, 2008. In 2010, the song was re-released with another music video. This is because Florence and The Machine wanted to produce a different vibe/genre to her music and also wanted more people to listen to her music. By the simple change of mise en scene, this helped her do so. Whilst changing the video, the lyrics stayed the same.

As you can see from the picture above, this song did very well over the first year it was released. This shows just how well the song has been produced and put together, and not only that but the song had been viewed and listened to world wide.
